I am a primary care physician and i agree the cardiologists are the wrong people to be taking money from. They do save lives. But people are not putting the premium on their lives being saved (because that is assumed), they are instead using medicare resources on nuisances (parts of aging if you will) such as erectile dysfunction at a urologist, atypical moles that have a small chance of cancer at the dermatologist and IBS at the gastroenterologists office. These conditions rarely kill anyone but do inconvenience many and thus in our system are worthy of medical attention. So what do we want to pay for saving lives or better lifestyles and how do we tell one group NO?

Once again, only the wealthy can afford to receive good health care. And we, the people, have no voice. And I wonder why I even bother to leave this comment!!!

I didn't think the death-care bureaucrats would be so bold as to start implementing death-care BEFORE the ObamaCare bill clears the US Senate. First the "new rules" on mammograms (no mammograms until age 50) and reduced access to pap smears to detect cervical cancer, and now no access to life-saving cardiac care if you are on Medicare!

Obama & Reid must be very confident that the destruction of health care in America is going to pass in the Senate before Christmas, why else are they proceeding as if it already has?
