The Mass. gay marriage law was intended to support gay families without impacting heterosexuals... yet the martial parity provisions forced Catholic Charities to cease its adoption program bc of the tax impact caused by not treating gay and heterosexual couples "the same" when it came to adoption of Catholic babies. Mass. has other adoption agencies which are available to gay couples so this was not the only route to adoption. What unintended consequence will this bill have. great blog….

Health insurance industry and pharm industry are the predators here. I am not sure you can take the words of physicians, including myself, on this, as we have a vested interest in the status quo. I see it as using an atomic bomb to solve a problem that could use a sniper. I have carefully laid out the key issues that need resolution in order to fix/reduce the cost of healthcare.
